May 20, 2008: Thanks to Roberta and Brodie of Rolling Thunder Radio for having me on their program last night, it was a lot of fun.
May 16, 2008: Rode the Duffey Lake loop, 703 kilometers round trip. Left Langley at 8:00 am and arrived back home at 11:15 pm. Captured some pretty cool footage of an avalanche from the previous day. I'll be editing the next few weeks, till then I've posted some photos in the British Columbia and
V-ROD photo sections.

May 12, 2008: New video: Motorcycle riding with COWS. Leaving Cache Creek, I turned of the Trans-Canada Highway in search of higher elevation, for footage of the surrounding area, when I came across hundreds of cows. It took awhile but I rode through them, once I got to the front of the herd, I turned around and rode back through them. It was hilarious...

July 3, 2008: Samuel de Champlain founded Quebec 400 years ago today.

Take a virtual motorcycle ride through Old Quebec City, declaired a World Heritage Site in 1985 by the UNESCO, United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation. The Chateau Frontenac, Upper Town and Lower Town are featured in this clip. (footage shot on June 4th, 2006).

Take a virtual motorcycle ride through a snow avalanche at Duffey Lake, British Columbia, Canada. This footage was shot on May 16, 2008. The first avalanche occurred on May 15th and closed
Highway 99. The second happened approximately an hour before I shot this, timing is everything....

July 28, 2008: Rode to Celista BC with a friend for the weekend. A beautiful area between Chase and Salmon Arm, British Columbia. I filmed the ride and took lots of pictures. Here's a few and more will be posted soon. The trip was 854 kilometers, round trip.

September 27, 2008: Several weeks were spent preparing for the recent trip through parts of British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan.  Leaving on Sept 6th and returning on September 23rd. Riding 5,707 kilometers, shooting 91 hours of high definition video and taking 3,183 photos. Videos will be uploaded as they are edited, and photos will be posted as they are resized.
September Ride Timeline:
September 6: The trip begins leaving Langley at 9:30 am, riding to Revelstoke, BC, where I spent the night. Special thanks goes to the Days Inn and Suites in Revelstoke, for providing accommodations. (523 kilometers)
September 7: Left Revelstoke and rode to Canmore, Alberta spending the night there. Special thanks goes to The Canadian Rockies Chalets in Canmore, Alberta for providing accommodations.

September 8-10: Left Canmore at 11:00 am with a temperature of 3 degrees riding to  Kananaskis Country where I spent three days filming this incredible area. Some of the areas featured: Barrier Dam, Peter Lougheed Provincial Park, Highwood Pass and the Kananaskis Village with five outstanding viewpoints on the Delta Lodge's property. Special thanks goes to the Delta Lodge at Kananaskis for providing accommodations while filming in the area. (55.6 kilometers)
September 12-14: Left Medicine Hat Alberta and rode to the set of TV's Corner Gas, in Rouleau Saskatchewan. Left Rouleau after sunset and rode to Weyburn. (540 kilometers)
September 15: Left Weyburn and rode back to Medicine Hat, home of the world's largest tepee. Thanks again  Motel 6 for providing accommodations on my return trip. (545 kilometers)
September 16-17: Medicine Hat to Drumheller. Some of the areas featured: Royal Tyrrell Museum, Dinosaur Provincial Park, the Hoodoos and the back 9 of the Dinosaur Trail Golf & Country Club. Special thanks goes to the Inn & Spa at Heartwood for providing  accommodations while filming in the area. (331 kilometers)
September 18-22: I left Drumheller at 8:30 am and rode to Jasper. (542 kilometers)
I spent five days filming in Jasper National Park and Banff National Park. Some of the areas featured: Medicine Lake, Maligine Lake, the Columbia Icefield, Highway 93 the Icefield Parkway and a heli-tour courtesy of Icefield Helicopter Tours.

September 23: Left  jasper at 8:30 am with a temperature of 1 degree. Arriving in Langley at 5:30 pm BC time. (753 kilometers)

Rocky Mountain sheep near Highwood Pass on the Kananaskis Trail in Alberta. With an elevation of 7,239 feet, it holds the record for the highest maintained paved road in Canada.

A motorcycle ride to the Dinosaur Provincial Park in the Badlands of Alberta, Canada. The park was established as a UNESCO World Heritage Site on October 26th, 1979 both for its nationally significant badlands and riverside riparian habitats, and for the international importance of the fossils found here. UNESCO  United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization.

April 21, 2009: Here are a few pictures from todays ride to Cypress Provincial Park. The first four were taken near the top of Cypress Bowl just before the ski area, and the fifth was shot from the point of interest about half way down down the mountain.

Virtual motorcycle riding on Cypress Bowl Road which is located in Cypress Provincial Park, British Columbia, Canada. This footage was shot April 21st, 2009, as you can see there is still lots of snow near the top of Cypress Mountain. The point of interest  shown at the end of the video is overlooking Vancouver, British Columbia. Stanley Park and the Lions Gate Bridge can also be seen.

May 28th, 2009: Fabrication of the mounting system for the Sony HXR-MC1 HD helmet cam is now complete, several weeks were spent testing and tuning. Today, a 538 kilometer test was done on a ride from Langley to the Last Spike Point of Interest located between Spences Bridge and Ashcroft, British Columbia, Canada. Footage from the ride will be posted in the next couple of days.
