Explorer GPS

Good news, bad news...
A few weeks ago I lost my InReach Explorer GPS Roadpost Inc. while riding my motorcycle. (Yes I understand the irony) Made a post on our social media networks but unfortunately that yielded no results.
But then last night I received an email from Garmin that it had been found and told me where I could pick it up.
I was beyond happy to get this wonderful news from Garmin and very grateful to the Good Samaritan who found it.

Okay now for the bad news...
I picked it up today and as you can see in this picture the plastic piece broke off the back of the orange case that slides into to clip, which was attached to the belt on the left side of my jacket. That plastic piece must have broke while I was riding (probably when shifting gears) and when it was bouncing down the road the display screen cracked from the multiple impacts to the pavement....

Unfortunately it is now unusable...

I've had this Explorer for many years and ridden a lot of miles with it allowing our viewers to track our rides and see all the additional stats it provides. One of the things I will miss the most is the piece of mind it gave me knowing I was only a push of the SOS button (satellite network) away if I ever had an accident and needed help, or if I rode up to someone else in a similar situation needing medical assistance.

So like I said at the beginning, good news, bad news...
